Mr. Beatley, President & CEO of Beatley Palmer, has over 20 years’ experience in the recruitment of Accounting and Financial professionals. His approach is thorough, confidential, and professional, combining the use of modern recruiting techniques with personal, face-to-face meetings with clients and candidates. He works closely with each of his clients, determining their unique needs and specifications in order to fill positions with the most qualified and suited candidates.

Mr. Beatley graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Business Administration and a major in Accounting. After graduation, Mr. Beatley obtained his CPA certificate while spending six years with a National Public Accounting firm. His time was divided between the audit and consulting departments, where he worked with small to midsize firms in a range of industries.

After public accounting, Mr. Beatley was Controller of a publicly traded REIT. He then decided to use his background in accounting and finance to enter the recruiter profession. He joined Don Richard Associates (DRA), the leading Accounting and Financial recruiting firm for permanent and temporary placement in the Washington DC area at that time. Mr. Beatley spent almost fifteen years with DRA, with the last ten as CEO, President and shareholder. Recently, Mr. Beatley spent two years as the Director of Executive Search for Anderson Knight, a boutique recruiting firm for Accounting and Financial professionals in the Washington DC area.

Mr. Beatley has experience unlike many other recruiters. From public accounting positions to CEO of a company, Mr. Beatley has worked in various areas – from auditing to system design and implementation; and from staff reviews to organization structures. Because he has experienced many aspects of the financial and accounting industry, Mr. Beatley has a very good understanding of the experience, background and career goals of the candidates he presents to his clients.
